Free Certificate of Origin for Lao Cai Border Exports

Jun. 2 – Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade is offering free certificate of origin (C/O) for agricultural products being exported to China via the Lao Cai border gate.

This measure was undertaken to make it easier for Vietnamese companies to export their agricultural products to China.

The Lao Cai import-export management department has so far issued 174 sets of C/O form E to companies exporting products to China using the Lao Cai international border gate totaling to about 30,700 tons.

The C/O form E includes a list of agricultural products like fresh cassava, dried cassava, rice, cashew nuts, watermelon and fresh lychee.
