Biggest Cold Storage Facility in the Region Opens in Ho Chi Minh City
Jun. 22 – The largest cold storage facility in Southeast Asia opened in Ho Chi Minh City last week to provide services to the country’s local and foreign aquaculture and food companies.
The US$28 million facility was built by U.S.-based Preferred Freezer Services as part of its strategic plans to expand into Asia in the next 36 months.

It is the American company’s first international facility with 8 million cubic feet of freezer space and 24,000 pallet-position capacity. Two more refrigerated warehousing facilities are currently being built in Shanghai Lingang Park, China.
The Ho Chi Minh City facility is located 1,000 meters from the Phu My Bridge in District 7. It is only 15 minutes from Cat Lai and the VICT Ports as well as 20 minutes from the city center.
